December 26, 2001 -June 14, 2011 Today we had to say good bye to our wonderful 9 year old whippet Blitzen. He was the one who exercised, baby sat and looked after our AHTs. He convinced a new AHT mom to accept her puppies when she didn't want to have anything to do with them. He kept all our guys fit and kept all our puppies out of trouble and in line. He had a smile (literally) and a crazy wiggle for everyone he loved. He convinced big dogs to chase him instead of our little guys, and was great at stealing pizzas off the counter and burgers off the grill. He will be sadly missed by all of us. Sadie, my daughter showed him for several years and they were a great team together. He helped me in training other peoples dogs, especially those with social problems. He was our favourite 40 mile an hour couch potato. He developed a sudden onset and very serious seizure disorder likely indicative of a tumor. We will miss him more than we can say. Rest in peace good boy. |
